  i want to thank you kind folk for caring about me!!!!.

  apologies for not checking in sooner, i have been so busy with the new job, and by the time evening comes i am so exhausted to log in from my laptop (that is sooooooooooooo slow).

  update: job is going well - i'm back in sales and with the community newspapers known as the fever.

  heh, publishers..... was talking with my mother the other day.

  in the 17 years i've been out, my old congregation's publishers have drastically dropped.

  when i was going , we were in the high 80s for publishers.

  Help!! Don't know where to start

  ok so to start... i am still an active jw... but only because i cannot get out yet... i am slowly planning to get out.... i should really read hassan's cult control book... it seems like i am getting everything wrong in trying to help the people i know to know ttatt.. so i will need your help, all of you dear people.. my current, actual beliefs are pretty much agnostic... no belief in any particular dogma, but i believe there is a higher power out there.... there are so many things on my mind... for example,.

  1. the fact that no nt manuscript contains the name "jehovah".

  2. the blood doctrine.

  Too much passion is a problem. Settle down. Take it easy. STFU. Your Dubs don't work to your timetable.

  Once cornered, it becomes clear that my Dubs really don't give a shit about reality, truth, evidence, the Bible, whatever. They give lip service to all of that while they have control of the conversation, but when they get in the shit they just resort to trashing my character as a non-believer/apostate/whatever to pretend that they don't have to think about what I said, or answer my questions.

  Forget having a barrage of ammunition. That just ID's you as the enemy. Pick ONE question that will bother THEM _______ NOT YOU, and stick with it. Never change the subject, never let them change the subject, never let tem get away with bad grammar or logic, never let them think you might have forgotten that they owe you a very good answer to a very good question.

  Make sure it was a good question.

  The reason I want to tell the TATT is that I really feel a horrible guilt, a horrible shame and like you said, a "fire" inside me that just wants to scream WAKE UP PEOPLE!!

  That is exactly what what will give the game away to the trooo believer JWs that you are an APOSTATE and are not to be listened to.

  If you want to get your family out, you will have to ask questions to make them think, & ask those questions in such a way that they don't feel threatened by you, & feel that they really want to have sensible answers for you. Just spitting out what you know will just frighten them off you, so get cunning.

  You have to find a way around every trap the WT set for apostates wanting to save their families from them. Consider keeping up the facade of being a trooo believer JW until you are the last one of your family to leave.

  Ask a question instead, then shut up and let them do all of the talking.

  The remaining partner then looks forward to an empty WT Paradise with the 1960's promise of living forever with their soulmate stolen by Jehovah's bad timing, and without all of the benefits that being an Armageddon survivor provides.

  WT destroying old literature

  i was approached by an elder about a year ago asking what i am going to do with my large collection of wt literature.

  he told me the society had put word out that they were collecting old literature.

  i asked him why but he couldn't give me a definite answer.

  I'm having a bit of bother at the moment, keeping old litteratrash out of a KH library and getting it in my hands where it will be much more useful.

  From reports I have heard, the only litteratrash not available in your average Kiwi KH is only what they have never had the opportunity to collect.

  However, there are people still living who were alive in 1914 and saw what was happening then and who were old enough that they still remember those events. This generation is getting up in years now. A great number of them have already passed away in death. Yet Jesus very pointedly said: “This generation will by no means pass away until all these things occur.” Some of them will still be alive to see the end of this wicked system. This means that only a short time is left before the end comes! (Ps. 90:10) So now is the time to take urgent action if you do not want to be swept away with this wicked system.

  Show it to your Dub and ask them to honestly explain every excuse they make. Do not answer their questions ... they are just looking for a way out.
